Nissan Cube: One new car for sale to come onto the market is the third generation of the Nissan Cube. This car is certainly one that turns heads. This is not because of its sleek curved shape that looks slippery and fast but quite the opposite in fact. The Nissan Cube got its name for the mere fact that the car is actually in the shape of yes a cube. Although it is square, it is also curved at the same time. For example the rear window wraps right around the door to meet the rear side windows. Also the drivers and passenger door window are of an oval shape which looks rather neat.

Nissan Cube Design: Nissan claim to have also developed the interior to make you feel as though you are driving in a Jacuzzi. Why? So you feel as if you are driving in a relaxed and social environment. Ahh maybe this will help with road rage. On the headlining, speaker covers and cup holders you will find a water ripple motif to give you that additional feeling. Some people may believe that Nissan has gone barmy in designing a car that goes totally against the grain in as far as aero dynamics are concerned so you would expect this car to be poor on fuel economy.

Nissan Cube Fuel Economy: However this Nissan Cube actually gives a return of 42 mpg from a 1.6 litre petrol engine. As for its looks, well it actually looks fairly funky in some ways and is very comfortable as small cars go. However it definitely will not appeal to everyone and there maybe some concern when you go to sell the car on . Getting into and out of the Cube was fairly easy and with the comfy seats that were made of a type of suede-like material. This car for sale is also designed to take five tall passengers and luggage as well so if you are concerned about practicality then this Nissan fits the bill.

Nissan Cube Build: Don't expect this car to act like a thoroughbred sports car with out and out acceleration. It is what it is a comfortable slightly funky looking mini MPV. The tailgate is of a side hinged affair which may only cause a problem if you are parked to something very close but very useful if unloading in a crowded street and the door shielding the view from the road. Japanese and UK models have the door hinged on the right for right hand drive cars, if you purchase a left hand drive car the tailgate will be hinged on the left. The dashboard does appear to have a wavy look to it and all in all looks quite trendy with a display which is laid out properly. Performance wise this little Nissan Cube can accelerate from 0-60mph in 11 seconds and is good for 109mph top speed. This third generation Nissan Cube cars for sale is built on a Renault Nissan alliance platform using the same engine as used in the Nissan Note. The gear change appeared to be relatively smooth on the Nissan Cube and many of the other controls were well placed and worked well. The third generation of the Nissan Cube has been around since around November 2008 and all in all for a price tag of just over £14,000 new and a list of extras you could buy, this is not a bad car to buy for your money.
